We are pleased to announce that we have arranged the sponsorship of school fees for the coming year for 34 students at the Saraswati Secondary School in Sudal, Bhaktapur, Nepal. Our plan, funds allowing, is to sponsor the education of these children for the full term of their secondary school career. Also , if funds allow, we would also like to sponsor their further education, whether at college or university.
A wise man once said that by providing education for a child, one is not just benefiting that child alone. For example, if that child grows and goes on to have children of their own, if they have received an education, then they are likely to ensure that their children receive an education and so on. Thus the benefits of educating a single child can extend into the future, as well as into society as a whole.
