We are a group of long term buddhist practitioners. All originally students of the late Akong Rinpoche, between us we have completed to date more than sixty years in retreat under the close personal supervision of our Lama, Drupon Khen Rinpoche Karma Lhabu. 

All of us feel that we have reaped immense personal benefit through having gained this precious opportunity of studying and practicing the Buddha’s teachings in an authentic setting. 

In response, we set up the Buddhist Support Fund to help others encounter similar opportunities to those we have received. 

We aim to do this by primarily providing financial support to projects that are under the direct supervision of, or in accord with, the vision of our Lama, Drupon Khen Rinpoche.

However, our outlook is nonsectarian, and we equally respect all genuine Buddhist lineages, whether Theravada, Mahayana, or Vajrayana.
